159 | Healing After My Abortion Didn’t Work The First Time. Is Something Wrong With Me?
Sometimes, I think we have this expectation when we join a healing group, that our pain of abortion will magically disappear and all will be well and normal again. While I absolutely 100% believe in healing groups and healing help (I wouldn’t offer 1:1 help or volunteer my time with other healing organizations if I didn’t truly believe in it), I do think there are times when we continue to feel lost and uncertain.
If you’ve been through healing after your abortion, and you still are feeling like you’re just not there, I want you to know that there is nothing wrong with you. Grief is extremely complex and is different for everyone. Today, we’re going to dive into that more so that you can better understand why healing maybe didn’t “work” the first time, and what you can do to continue the journey.
