6 | The MN PRO Act and Why This Law is Dangerous for Minors

With the overturning of Roe V Wade this past summer, states have been creating their own laws surrounding abortion. Some have trigger laws in place that are completely outlawing abortion altogether, and some are creating even more broad abortion laws that are now allowing abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, for any reason, at any age without the notification of the parents if the person seeking abortion is a minor. This fact is one that I am emotionally charged by because I was a minor at the time of my abortion and did not have to notify my parents prior to or thereafter. While this episode may get a little “spicy” I do just want to ask that all of you listening, no matter what you believe or how you feel, please keep an open mind and really listen to what I have to share, and just know that it is coming from a place of love, compassion, and also truth because I lived through it.
