94 | Should I Tell My Children About My Abortion? 3 Things To Consider When Deciding If It's Time For Your Kids To Know

Thinking about telling other people about your abortion can be terrifying. Believe me, I’ve been there. Despite having this podcast and speaking at public venues about my story, I still have these feelings at times. Anytime I meet someone new and they ask what I do, I sometimes am not sure what to say. After all, my past is pretty obvious after I share what I do! 
 
So when we think about telling the people closest to us, it can be even scarier. We have already done an episode about telling your spouse which was episode 69, and I’ll link that episode below for you if you want to check that one out. Today, though, we are going to jump into the topic of telling your kids: more specifically, we’ll go over 3 things to consider when deciding whether or not you should tell them.

92 | 5 Bible Verses to Read When You Are Having A Bad Day

Better late than never! 
Most of you probably didn’t notice too much, but we are a day late with our episode this week! To be completely honest, I didn’t prepare well in advance with upcoming content, and then our family dog of 14 years began declining significantly and we said goodbye to him on Monday. 91 | I Had An Abortion: My Story Of Deception, Heartbreak, and Redemption

Happy New Year! No matter where you are at right now in your healing, I pray that peace and hope are going to be the gifts that you will receive this year. 
We are almost one whole year into podcasting and have been seeing our listener count grow quite a bit over the last couple of months, so I thought it might be fun to have a refresher today! Instead of replaying an old episode of my story, I am going to retell it to you today. Welcome to the ”Does God Forgive Abortion?” Podcast! Christian Women Healing From The Past Decision of Abortion

Hey, I’m Brittany, a wife, work from home mom, and daughter of a king, and you wouldn’t know it just by looking at me, but I too walked through the doors of an abortion facility and ended the life of my unborn child. 
For over 10 years I tried to hide the pain I carried with me as a result of a choice I made when I was 17 years old. I ran from my faith, succumbed to self-destructive behaviors, and gave up the goals and dreams I no longer felt like I deserved. 
 
It wasn’t until God spoke to me through my earbuds during one of the lowest points in my life that I realized that He truly had never left me and that he was calling me home. 
I opened up my Bible, studied his word, learned his true character and attributes, and partnered with him for eternity as he healed my heart and restored my brokenness. 
 
If you are ready to finally feel whole again, to find that peace and forgiveness you so desperately desire, to feel a sense of belonging in your church, your community, and your family, and to equip yourself to go and share your testimony to help other women understand the true cost of abortion, then this podcast is for you.
