Hey, I’m Brittany—wife, homeschooling mom, pro-life speaker, and abortion recovery coach. For over 10 years, I carried the weight of my abortion silently, desperately wanting to grow closer to God but feeling unworthy… like I had committed the unforgivable sin.
I believed that in order to “win back” my salvation, I needed to do all the right things and somehow save myself through works. I became a “yes girl” and overworked and overachieved myself straight into a depression I was desperate to crawl out of.
After I finally crashed and burned, God opened my eyes: If I was going to grow closer to Him and truly heal my heart, I needed to come back to the true gospel of Jesus, accept His forgiveness, and stop running in fear.
I dug into the Bible, found accountability and community with other Christian women, and stopped listening to the lies of the enemy that kept me stuck in shame and guilt. And now—I’m here to help you do the same.

Today's guest is a new friend of mine named Stephanie Jacobson. Stephanie and I have crossed paths a few times over the last couple of years, so I am extremely excited to have her on the show. You are going to be incredibly blessed by her story and her encouragement.
Stephanie is a mother of 5 children and a grandmother to 16. She is a licensed massage therapist. God is expanding her passions and desires to include many other areas, including legislation through being a citizen activist. She has a great passion to encourage women to start their healing journey from the pain of abortion.
Stephanie now has the boldness to be obedient and speak out for truth. The pain of abortion that had inhibited her from her God given purpose, gave way to understanding God’s plan is for her for ‘such a time as this’. She gives all glory to our God our Father for HIS mercy and grace.

Today’s guest is my new friend, Mary Browning. Mary J. Browning is an attorney licensed to practice law in Missouri. She had a private practice for almost 20 years, focusing on matters involving children and other family law matters. Mary is a litigator who has practiced in many circuit courts and in the appellate divisions of the Missouri Court of Appeals, and in the United States Supreme Court.
Mary spent 10 years in the executive department of Missouri, focusing on abused and neglected children, serving as the Chair of the State Child Fatality Review Program, and as General Counsel for the Missouri Department of Social Services. She currently serves on her local Pregnancy Help Center board and has done so for many years.
Mary now works for The Justice Foundation as Legal Advisor to Operation Outcry Witnesses. In this role, she mentors women who’ve had abortion in their pasts and helps them share their stories. She also assists in writing briefs filed in the U.S. Supreme Court, and other courts across the country.

If I had a nickel for every time a woman said to me, “My pastor never talks about abortion. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the word abortion in church,” I would never have to work again a day in my life.
Okay, okay, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, but I indeed hear this on a regular basis.
Now I just want to preface this by saying, this is not a pastor-hating episode. I have a deep respect for pastors and am super thankful for the pastors at my own church. I am passionate about raising awareness to help the church as a whole shed light on this issue of abortion and abortion recovery, which is what I want to convey in this episode today.
When the church is silent about abortion, women and men are prevented from getting healing. Many think their salvation is at risk.
Today, we’re going to set the record straight.
