Hey, I’m Brittany—wife, homeschooling mom, pro-life speaker, and abortion recovery coach. For over 10 years, I carried the weight of my abortion silently, desperately wanting to grow closer to God but feeling unworthy… like I had committed the unforgivable sin.
I believed that in order to “win back” my salvation, I needed to do all the right things and somehow save myself through works. I became a “yes girl” and overworked and overachieved myself straight into a depression I was desperate to crawl out of.
After I finally crashed and burned, God opened my eyes: If I was going to grow closer to Him and truly heal my heart, I needed to come back to the true gospel of Jesus, accept His forgiveness, and stop running in fear.
I dug into the Bible, found accountability and community with other Christian women, and stopped listening to the lies of the enemy that kept me stuck in shame and guilt. And now—I’m here to help you do the same.

Are you ready to make 2025 the year you finally start to heal from your past abortion?!
Friend, I don’t want you to be sitting here a year from now in the same place or worse than where you are right now. I know that so many people start sharing about their new year and their dreams and goals for the year ahead and it seems kind of cliche, but I do think there’s something to be said about a fresh start, a new page.
I believe we can turn the page any time of the year, but there’s something psychological about beginning that change at the start of a new year. 2025 is like a new chapter that we are about to embark on, it’s a new chapter that we are about to write. But what if, instead of trying to write it yourself, trying to keep control, continuing to avoid the things that God is nudging you to do, what if instead of all of that you decide to surrender and let God write that chapter?
There is so much promise in what God has for you. I pray this episode reminds you of that today!

I get asked often, “How did you know you were forgiven? When did you realize that you were healed and forgiven for what you did?” That’s a valid question, and I remember when I also wondered that same thing. How come someone else feels forgiven, but I don’t?

I have a special treat for you today!
Remember my friend Heather who shared on the podcast last month? I also went on her podcast and she graciously shared the audio with me so I could share it here with you, too! I thought it would be fun for you to hear a different side of the podcast, one where I am being interviewed by someone else.
In this episode, we talk about the fear of punishment that many of us face after having an abortion. There is this unmet justice that we somehow feel we need to take into our own hands. Friend, God is a God of justice, and it's not our responsibility to try to carry that out! He says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of those sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. The need for justice is no longer, because Jesus did that already!
