If we listen to the world, we only get so far before we crash and burn. The fact is, we are NOT enough. We are NOT our own redemption. Redemption is only found through Christ.

Before we dig into today’s episode, I just have to give a disclaimer: this episode is not bashing therapy/mental health counseling! I am a firm believer that therapy is important, that licensed professional counselors/therapists are highly skilled, and I respect them immensely and hope to become one someday! I encourage therapy for sure. 
This past fall when I was conducting market research for the podcast, the most common phrase I heard over and over again was: "therapy isn’t working." It's important to remember that even though therapy is good, there can be roadblocks that we face.

96 | Thinking About Having An Abortion? Here Is What I Would Say To An Abortion-Minded Woman

A majority of the women I encounter are women who have already chosen abortion. These women have been bound by the chains of shame and guilt for so long, and are searching for hope and just don’t know where to find it. Many women take this secret to the grave, never finding true wholeness and healing. 
Now and then, I do receive a message from an abortion minded woman. They find my podcast and reach out sharing with me why abortion is the best choice for them and why it’s necessary. I’ll be honest, this is hard to navigate. It’s hard because I always want to lead with love and compassion, but I also know that if I don’t say the right words, I might affirm her decision. 
I am not all knowing, I don’t have all of the answers, and I certainly am not perfect. However, since I do have abortion-minded women finding the show, I think it’s important for this episode to live here on the feed. So my friend, if you are abortion minded, this episode is for you. And, if you are not abortion minded, but you need some guidance on how to talk to someone that is, I pray that this episode will help you.

95 | Worried That Your Family and Friends Won't Understand? How To Share Your Post-Abortion Testimony Even When Your Family Isn't Supportive

The post-abortion mission field is ripe for harvest. With an estimated 878,000 abortions in the first 10 months of 2023 just in the US alone, there is no wonder why we have women in distress needing help and not knowing where to turn. At the same time, each of those abortions is also a life lost at the hands of the father of lies. 
Perhaps you’re feeling called into this mission field. You have a desire to share your testimony. You want to help other women choose life and not make the same mistake that you made. Maybe you feel God calling you to sit with the woman who has yet to know him but feels this deep hole in her heart because of her choice. Regardless of where you feel led, I can tell you that you are needed. 
But, you’ve got a roadblock: how do you serve where God has called you when you have family and friends that are discouraging you from moving forward? This is tough, and while I don’t have all of the answers, I can share my personal experience to hopefully help you feel less alone and allow God to lead you where he needs you.

Better late than never! 
Most of you probably didn’t notice too much, but we are a day late with our episode this week! Happy New Year! No matter where you are at right now in your healing, I pray that peace and hope are going to be the gifts that you will receive this year. 
We are almost one whole year into podcasting and have been seeing our listener count grow quite a bit over the last couple of months, so I thought it might be fun to have a refresher today! Welcome to Abortion Recovery for Christian Women! Healing From The Past Decision of Abortion

Hey, I’m Brittany, a wife, work from home mom, and daughter of a king, and you wouldn’t know it just by looking at me, but I too walked through the doors of an abortion facility and ended the life of my unborn child. 
For over 10 years I tried to hide the pain I carried with me as a result of a choice I made when I was 17 years old. I ran from my faith, succumbed to self-destructive behaviors, and gave up the goals and dreams I no longer felt like I deserved. 
 
It wasn’t until God spoke to me through my earbuds during one of the lowest points in my life that I realized that He truly had never left me and that he was calling me home. 
I opened up my Bible, studied his word, learned his true character and attributes, and partnered with him for eternity as he healed my heart and restored my brokenness.
